Dr. Moku teaches you how to read, write and speak languages by using memory tricks.
Let’s take a look at whats in Version 1.
We’ve got Hiragana and Katakana of course, but this time each they are divided into manageable sets.
And Each character has its own page with an animated story, stroke order and sample words with audio.
At the end of each set you can take a recap quiz.
Audio charts? Yep
Favorites? Yep
Auto-play? Yep
But…the one feature that everybody has been asking for is finally here…. Dr. Moku’s Hangul!
Learn Korean slickly and quickly with unforgettable animated stories.
We’ve also got a new Practice Module with a cool new feature called Flash card mode to help you revise.
Oh and each language has a phrasebook too. You can create your own lists and jump to your favorites with ease.
We’ve also added a sample of Arabic Alphanoidz, check it out, even if you never considered learning Arabic before..why NOT if its this easy!
We’ll add the complete Alphanoidz pack in the next version.
Also coming in the next update is Dr. Moku’s Kanji! We’ve added a few example Kanjis in this version but soon we’ll be adding an amazing 125 Kanji!
Oh and we should mention that the app has a Spanish version. Por fin!
Yep, everything is in Spanish too. For example, this is the English version of one Hangul and here is the Spanish.
And no subscription! Each content pack is a one time purchase. Buy once and keep forever.
Don’t you hate when companies claim to make learning fun?
There really is nothing "fun" about learning languages.
There’s definitely satisfaction in impressing friends, passing exams, and using your language skills in the real world but the FUN comes in the time you SAVE by finding the right learning method.
Dr. Moku strives to make learning languages painless and effective so you have more time to create your own fun.
Studying sucks. Memorization stinks. Mnemonics work.
The first Dr. Moku app was published way back in 2010, it was primitive and clunky but it helped tens of thousands of people to learn Hiragana and Katakana without the pain of rote memorization.
This new app is the start of a whole new chapter. The vision is to gradually add new languages and subjects using the same mnemonic techniques.
Stick around, it's going to be fun! Ha! Don't you hate when companies say that!.
Gotta shoot!
More soon, cheers,
Bob
